MICROSPHERE AWL BLADE WITH HANDLE FOR LEATHER SEWING
This kit brings together the Deco Cuir stainless steel microsphere round awl and its screw handle for hand-sewing leather.
The ball-shaped tip of the blade prevents piercing the thread during backstitching, and the conical then cylindrical shape of the blade has been designed for smooth passage through the leather.
Unlike a clamp awl, the round awl is not used to pierce leather. It is designed to enlarge an existing hole or to re-thread the thread during sewing.
The screw handle makes it easy to install the blade: slightly loosen the handle, insert the blade to the desired length, then press the back screw before tightening.
