MICROSPHERE AWL WITH WOODEN HANDLE FOR LEATHER STITCHING
This kit combines the Deco Cuir stainless steel microsphere round awl and a wooden handle for hand-stitching leather.
The ball-shaped tip of the blade prevents piercing the thread during backstitching, and the conical then cylindrical shape of the blade has been designed for smooth passage through the leather.
Unlike a pricking awl, the round awl is not used to pierce leather. It is designed to enlarge an existing hole or to re-pass the thread when stitching.
The brass ring clamping system ensures reliable blade retention and easy insertion: slightly loosen the handle, insert the blade to the desired length, then tighten.
