AWL FOR ENLARGING HOLES
This awl is the result of the expertise of a French artisan (Jérôme David) who completely redesigned an ancient tool.By combining aesthetics, ergonomics, precious materials, and high technology, Jérôme David offers you a very high-quality round awl. The ferrule is made of titanium, its tip is fully polished and does not mark the leather, even if the blade is pushed in all the way.
The handle is ergonomic and will provide excellent comfort of use. It has a flat side that prevents the awl from rolling on your workbench (and falling to the ground).
The wood used for the handle is Ceylon lemon wood from FSC certified sustainable forests.

In case of a problem, the blade can be changed (sold as a spare part) and is removed with a small TORX N°6 screw on the side. The handle of this awl is identical to the Jérôme David leatherworker pliers awl. You can therefore mount a J.D. Excellence 2 mm awl blade on this handle to transform it into a diamond awl.
