OKA DIAMOND TIP AWL - PRO RANGE
This awl with pliers allows you to drill a diamond-shaped hole in the leather . It is essential for saddle stitch sewing (sewing leather by hand).
This professional-grade tool has a hand- sharpened, hardened steel blade to penetrate leather and remove effortlessly.
The handle is made of Ostryer wood from Japan . This hard and resistant wood is raw (unvarnished), it is ideal for prolonged contact with the hand. Two lines in the center of the handle create a non-slip surface for the thumb and middle finger.
This diamond awl has a brass ferrule for a beautiful finish.
The blade is well centered and perpendicular to the handle. It is perfectly straight so that the hole made is always the same size, whether you insert the blade completely or partially.
