SET OF SANDING SHEETS AND CARBON PLATES - EDGE SANDING

This complete set contains 8 carbon plates, 10 self-adhesive sandpaper sheets for each of the 8 grits (180, 280, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, and 1500), and 8 sheets of self-adhesive labels to identify the grit sizes.

These high-quality small abrasive papers are ideally sized for easy and precise sanding of your leather edges.
Made of carbon, the plate is wear-resistant and has the advantage of being both very rigid and lightweight.

The uses indicated above are for guidance only and depend on the leather used. This is why a wide range of grits is available to allow you to choose the one that best suits your leather.

Usage tips :
- For first use: peel off the protective paper from the sandpaper sheet and stick it onto a carbon plate. To help you identify the grit of your sandpaper, stick the label indicating the grit number on the other side of the carbon plate (see video).
We recommend using a carbon plate dedicated to each grit.
- Use dry. The lower the grit number, the coarser the grit, and therefore the more abrasive. For best results, we advise starting with a coarse grit, then gradually refining your work with a finer grit.
- When the sandpaper sheet is worn out, remove it from the carbon plate and stick a new one on. The adhesive leaves no residue, ensuring a perfectly smooth surface on the carbon plate!
